An Aydem Classroom Bookshelf in Kuşadası

As part of its social responsibility projects, Aydem created the “Aydem Classroom Bookshelf” at Kuşadası Vali Kadir Uysal School with the books collected at the customer relations centers in Kuşadası and Davutlar in Aydın.

The first social responsibility project was completed as part of the event protocol signed between Kuşadası District Governorship, Kuşadası District Directorate of National Education and Aydem. It was stated that broad participation was observed in the book donation project implemented under the slogan “Share a Book; Pass on Your Energy to Future Generations”. With the books donated by Aydem customers, an Aydem Classroom Bookshelf was created at Kuşadası Vali Kadir Uysal School. The ceremony held for the delivery of the Aydem Classroom Bookshelf was attended by İbrahim Ataman, Kuşadası District Director of National Education; Mahmut Öztürk, Principal of Vali Kadir Uysal School; Sema Turanlı, Aydem’s Kuşadası Regional Manager; and Gizem Mandacı, Aydem’s Corporate Communications Manager, as well as the teachers and students of the school.

İbrahim Ataman, Kuşadası District Director of National Education stated: “At the Directorate of National Education, we attach importance on sustainable projects that offer social benefits. To this end, we signed this protocol with Aydem in order to meet the needs of disadvantaged schools for books and bookshelves.” Sema Turanlı, Aydem’s Kuşadası Regional Manager remarked: “Endless thanks to İbrahim Ataman, Kuşadası District Director of National Education and thus Kuşadası District Directorate of National Education as they continuously supported us during the book donation campaign we started under the leadership of Kuşadası District Directorate of National Education, and also many thanks to all our customers for their invaluable donations.”

Turanlı also stated that as part of this protocol, they would like to carry out similar social responsibility projects at the schools in Kuşadası. Mahmut Öztürk, Principal of Vali Kadir Uysal School, also delivered a speech where he thanked the District Directorate of National Education and Aydem. The books donated were presented for the approval of the Kuşadası District Directorate of National Education before being put in the Aydem Classroom Bookshelf for students to read.
